God or Someone beloved?

some people said, this song is refer to his God.
The lyrics, " i am not my own, that i have been made new".
when a person decides to follow his God with the rabbinic way, he is a new creation.

But, another people said, it's not about the devinity's feeling.
" please don't let me go, i desperately need you ".
This line of lyrics is not point of God attributes. God never leave us, but we are who often leave Him.
So, according to this line, it seems a lot more like he's writing about either a lover who might leave him or a close friend or lover who is dying.

Well, music is always gives us a big space to make thousands meaning.
everyone can make their own interpretation.
there's no which is true or false.
And i think this is a joy of learning interpreting something...
